The state of architecture hiring in Europe โ July 2026
A living report computed from every live ad in our dataset (4,339 right now, refreshed daily from employers' own feeds, official national job APIs, the chambers' boards and EURES). No survey, no self-reporting โ just what the ads themselves say. Figures update every morning; this page always reflects the current month.

Seniority mix
Read from ad titles. Most European ads state no level at all โ "unspecified" is the honest biggest bucket, and usually means mid-level in practice.
What the ads don't show: the two hiring waves
European studios hire in two waves โ SeptemberโOctober (post-summer, new budgets, project starts) and January โ and most studio hiring never becomes an ad at all: small practices hire from speculative applications sent directly. That's why this site pairs the ads with a directory of 4,362 researched studios and a guide to the speculative-application method. If you're reading this before September: that's the window to prepare for, not the one to wait out.
