Where else architects work: the AEC employers
A studio is one door. Big contractors, multidisciplinary engineering consultancies and developers all hire architects — often for BIM, technical, site and project-management roles, frequently in English and with more structured career paths. The building engineers (aparejadores / quantity surveyors) work at these same firms.
